Physiotherapy treatment is designed to help alleviate pain, increase   range of movement and increase muscle strength.

Physiotherapy is designed to return their patients to normal day-to-day activities.

A Physiotherapist will use many different techniques during the treatment, including manipulation and mobilization of joints and soft tissue, soft tissue massage and, if indicated they will use modern electronic equipment to reduce inflammation and pain and promote healing.

An exercise programme, including core stability, Pilates, strength and conditioning and stretching, often accompanies the techniques used by the Physiotherapists.  These are implemented to optimise the treatment and help speed up the recovery.

At MK Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic we analyse movement and postural patterns.  This will incorporate gait analysys, running style, functional movement patterns often used in conjunction with treadmill analysis and video motion.  This is designed to identify any abnormal movement or posture, which may be the underlying cause of the injury.

MK Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic Physiotherapists work in partnership with their patients to facilitate return to your optimal state.
